New Graduate Faculty – Dr Perry Johnson

Perry Johnson, PhD - Faculty

Please join us in welcoming Dr Perry Johnson to our graduate program’s faculty. Dr Johnson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. He is also a graduate of the program (PhD 2011). Subsequent to obtaining his PhD from UF, Dr Johnson completed a residency at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando and then spent the next six years at the University of Miami. At UF, Dr Johnson is engaged in clinical responsibilities, academic initiatives, research endeavors, and administrative duties. He is already actively involved in our graduate program, serving on the PhD supervisory committees of two of our students and joining a research grant with Dr Wes Bolch. Dr Johnson is positioned to provide our students with unique educational experiences and research initiatives, many of which have the potential to result in presentations, publications and funding.
