Landauer Medical Physics is seeking an experienced physicist to join our growing practice group as part of the radiation oncology team supporting a comprehensive cancer center located in Myrtle Beach, SC. This position is for a progressive, hands-on MS degree physicist with a successful track record in project management and clinical operations. Responsibilities include all aspects of clinical radiation oncology physics, quality assurance, and verifying the accuracy of treatment planning. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential; as well as interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment. External beam treatment modalities include 3D/VMAT/SBRT. The center also has an active HDR, and radionuclide program (Xofigo). Landauer Medical Physics offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401K).

Equipment: Two GE Lightspeed RT CT scanners, Varian TrueBeam and Halcyon, TomoTherapy Hi-Art, Nucletron microSelectron HDR

  • Master’s degree in Medical Physics, Physics or related science
  • Board certified by the American Board of Radiology or equivalent
  • HDR experience required
  • Listed on a current RAM license as an Authorized Medical Physicist for HDR, preferred
  • Radionuclide experience, preferred
  • 5 – 10 years experience as a Clinical Physicist
