Prisma Health is seeking a therapy medical physicist to join our team in South Carolina. Greenville is a beautiful growing city that has delicious food and drink, quaint Main Street, bustling art scene, bike-friendly attitude, picturesque parks, fun-filled festivals, and sweet Southern hospitality.
Our group consists of 5 other physicists, 4 dosimetrists, and 7 radiation oncologists providing services to about 125 patients per day. We perform a variety of special procedures including HDR, SRS, SBRT, TBI, and eye plaques, and are very involved in clinical operations. Our facility utilizes mostly Varian products with the exception of Brainlab Elements and Exactrac for our SRS cases and has a suite of Sun Nuclear QA products. We are a close-knit physics/dosimetry group that has a team oriented approach to handling responsibilities and we truly enjoy working with one another. You will be trained in any areas that you are not proficient, as we are all interchangeable parts. Self-motivated and independent thinkers are encouraged to apply. ABR certification is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates graduating from residency programs this year.
