UF Medical Physics is recruiting for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Diagnostic Medical Physics!

A two-year Research Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Diagnostic Medical Physics in the Division of Medical Physics with the Department of Radiology at the University of Florida in Gainesville is now open for qualified applicants. The position is designed to train recent graduates to work in research in Diagnostic Medical Physics in an academic department or in medical imaging industry. The position will also introduce the successful candidate to working with private sponsors in funded research as they will participate in ongoing research in spectral computed tomography (CT) and interventional radiology (IR) and applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI). The facilities available include private office/research space; high performance workstations; a large CPU/GPU cluster facility (HiperGator); and access to CT and IR systems throughout the UF Health system hospitals and clinics.

Candidates must have a doctoral degree in medical physics or biomedical engineering. Demonstrated experience with tomographic imaging and reconstruction, MATLAB is required. Knowledge of machine learning (particularly deep learning (DL) with a focus on medical imaging, and programming is desired.
