We are exceptionally proud of UF Medical Physics graduate Lieutenant Ronnie Bolden, who graduated in Summer 2022 as an active duty Naval Officer and was then selected for the United States Navy’s Medical Imaging Physics Residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. Each year, only one individual is selected for this prestigious residency. Lieutenant Bolden is also the first person of color to be selected!
During his time in the program, Lieutenant Bolden excelled in the classroom, made significant contributions in the lab, and exhibited unwavering support of his classmates and respect for the program.
We salute Lieutenant Bolden and his US Navy colleagues and look forward to their positive impact on the field of Medical Physics!
