Please join us in congratulating Dr Manuel Arreola, Vice Chair of Medical Physics, who was named an Honorary Professor of Medical Physics by the Divisional Council of Basic Sciences and Engineering at the Metropolitan Autonomous University – Iztapalapa (Universidad Autonoma Metropolitanta – Iztapalapa) in Mexico City, Mexico!
Dr Arreola’s dedication to international collaboration is steadfast. In May 2022, Dr Arreola travelled to Mexico City to formalize collaboration efforts with UAM and to confirm UF Medical Physics’ ongoing effort to improve the health of others though the advancement of the science of medical physics by facilitating international collaboration and outreach.
These efforts include coordinating the annual UF/UAM Symposium in Clinical Medical Physics. This year’s event is scheduled for September 11/12/13, and will include multiple workshops and lectures in both Spanish and English.
We look forward to the upcoming symposium and congratulate Dr Arreola on his commitment and resolve to fostering international collaboration!
