U-M Health Physics Technician: The University of Michigan (U-M) Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) department promotes health, safety, and environmental compliance. At U-M, safety on the job and protection of the environment are everyone’s responsibility. EHS provides leadership at all levels of the University to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. EHS has an opening for a Health Physics Technician (HPT) to provide technical support to Radiation Safety Service (RSS) health physics staff and the University community. This position reports to the Health Physics Coordinator. The HPT will be responsible for a variety of radiological safety and regulatory compliance duties relating to research and medical use of radioactive materials and radiation-producing machines.
