NIH Fellowship – Bobby Dawson

Bobby Dawson, PhD Student

Congratulations to Bobby Dawson who was awarded the prestigious Ruth L Kirschenstein Predoctoral Individual National Research Service Award by the National Institutes of Health/National Cancer Institute.

Bobby is a PhD student under Dr Wesley Bolch, Distinguished Professor, in the Advanced Laboratory for Radiation Dosimetry Studies (ALRADS) with the J Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering.

The fellowship was awarded on a grant titled “Development and application of whole-body patient-specific computational mesh phantoms for organ dosimetry and second primary cancer risk quantification following external beam radiotherapy” and fully covers Bobby’s tuition, fees, and stipend until he graduates. It also provides additional funds for research and conference travel.

We are incredibly proud of Bobby!
