The UF Medical Physics Graduate Program is now accepting applications (MS & PhD) for Fall 2025.
As one of the oldest medical physics programs in the nation, originating in 1961, our program is accredited for graduate degrees by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs (CAMPEP).
Under the direction of Dr Stephanie Leon, Program Director, the program aims to produce well-rounded physicists who are educated equally in both diagnostic and therapeutic medical physics. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed to teach the fundamentals of medical physics, with a focus on clinical applications. Ample research opportunities exist with our engaging multi-disciplinary faculty (the majority of whom are clinical medical physicists) and collaboration is strongly encouraged.
We look forward to welcoming the next class of Medical Physicists to the University of Florida!
