The University of Maryland Medical System is currently hiring a Medical Physicist Assistant (Physicist Safety/Regulatory/Quality Specialist) for the Maryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC). We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in health physics or closely related fields (Master’s degree preferred). This position is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience, especially those considering applying for a residency program after completing their master’s degree or those currently in a distance program. The incumbent will work directly with Physicists, Dosimetrists, and Physicist Residents. These opportunities will provide valuable hands-on experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and clinical workflows.
