The UF Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physics residents recently completed acceptance testing of the UF Mobile Cancer Screening Connector, which will expand access to lifesaving cancer screenings and essential health care services across the region. The bus is outfitted with leading-edge technology to bring a range of cancer screening and health care services directly to communities, including 3D mammography and screenings for cervical, colon, and prostate cancers. The unit is the first of its kind in North Central Florida.
