New Graduate Faculty – Dr Olguin


Edmond Olguin, PhD.

Congratulations to Dr Edmond Olguin, who was recently awarded Graduate Faculty Status in the UF Medical Physics Graduate Program.

Dr Olguin, a UF Medical Physics Graduate Program alumnus, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology with the College of Medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville.

Prior to his current position, he worked as a Medical Imaging Physicist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.

He is dual board certified in both diagnostic medical physics and nuclear medical physics by the American Board of Radiology.

Dr Olguin has already assumed a teaching role in the program and has begun advising students.
