
Congratulations to Dr Twyla Willoughby, who was recently awarded Graduate Faculty Status in the UF Medical Physics Graduate Program.
Dr Willoughby, a UF Medical Physics Graduate Program alumnus (PhD 2014), is an Associate Professor at the UF Health Proton Therapy Institute in the Department of Radiation Oncology with the College of Medicine at the University of Florida in Jacksonville.
Prior to her current position, she worked as an Affiliate Clinical Assistant Faculty Member at the UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health; a Senior Medical Physicist at Orlando Regional Medical Center; a Medical Physicist at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation; and as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
She is board certified in therapeutic medical physics by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr Willoughby has already assumed a teaching role in the program.
