Hao-Wen became interested in medical physics when he was in college, majoring in Medical Imaging and Radiological Science. After receiving his MS degree in Radiological Physics, he started working as a therapeutic medical physicist at Taipei Medical University – Shuang Ho Hospital in Taiwan.

Hao-Wen has over eight years of clinical experience working as a medical physicist, and he has gained valuable experience in IMRT/VMAT, IGRT, Gamma Knife, SBRT, Tomotherapy, HDR brachytherapy, and IORT including treatment planning, machine QA, and patient-specific QA. He is also board certified by the Chinese Society of Medical Physics in Therapeutic Medical Physics. His passion for research and his desire to contribute to improving clinical treatment motivated him to seek a PhD program. 

In his free time, Hao-Wen enjoys watching sports, hiking, and traveling.
