Michelle has always been passionate about the connection between medicine and engineering, which is why she completed an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering. When she discovered the field of medical physics, she realized that it was the perfect combination of her interests in science and healthcare. After shadowing a physicist at the University of Missouri, her desire to pursue medical physics was solidified. Her ultimate goal is to become a radiation therapy physicist.
