Tom is a masters degree student planning to use medical physics and information systems concepts to improve diagnostics related to CNS disorders. He hopes to improve upon current methods by leveraging modern software and computing analysis techniques, together with recent advances in disease classification.

Tom is the father of two adult children who enjoys cycling, freshwater fishing, volunteering, gardening, and travelling with his wife. Originally from Wisconsin, he worked briefly for the US Departments of Defense and Energy, then became an Information Technology manager/analyst in the contact center industry. In parallel with this, Tom served as an Adjunct Professor in Information Technology Management for the Jacksonville regional campuses of Webster University.
