Tricia is conducting research under the direction of Dr Frank Bova, Distinguished Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery, with a focus on therapeutic medical physics.
As one of our professional PhD students, Tricia is a board-certified therapeutic medical physicist employed with Varian Medical Systems and contracted at City of Hope in Atlanta, Georgia. Her current clinical responsibilities include many complex treatment techniques such as stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic radiotherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy, deep inspiration breath-hold, and triggered imaging. She is also a member of the practice quality improvement program, an in-house program dedicated to improving the quality and efficiency of every aspect of clinical treatment.
