Naipy is conducting research under the direction of Dr Manuel Arreola, Vice Chair of Physics in the Department of Radiology, with a focus on diagnostic medical physics.
As one of our professional PhD students, Naipy is a board-certified therapeutic medical physicist employed at Innovative Cancer Institute in Miami, Florida. Her current clinical responsibilities include special procedures such as intra, extracranial radiosurgery, and HDR Brachytherapy. She has been involved in the development and implementation of the Lattice Radiotherapy Technique for the treatment of voluminous and radioresistant tumors for over ten years.
