Clinical Experience

Clinical experience is gained in the hospitals and clinics that encompass UF Health in both Gainesville and Jacksonville. Residents participate in daily patient dose assessment activities.

Education

The Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physics Residency (DIMPR) program provides multiple opportunities for your development as an educator. This includes:

  • Teaching Radiology, Dentistry, and Veterinary Medicine residents and medical students
  • Teaching MS and PhD students in the UF Medical Physics Graduate Program
  • Participating in the UF College of Medicine’s Residents as Teachers Program

Research

Numerous opportunities to develop projects with our clinical colleagues also exist, particularly those that are related to patient safety.
